Audience: This website is intended specifically for close friends of mine from my high school (located in Mankato, MN). The website is not intended to be viewed by the public.

Purpose: I created a private online community for some friends of mine (from high school). As opposed to making social plans through a lengthy thread of group text messages or a public social networking medium (like Facebook), I created “Mankato Connection” as an alternative for making social plans. I created usernames and default passwords for all interested friends. This allowed them to post onto the discussion board. For those who were not familiar with WordPress blogging, there is an in-depth “Need Help” page for guidance. The “Need Help” page has instructions (supported by screenshots) to guide the person through all necessary functions of this website.
