Compatible Memory Cards

Compatibility with all memory cards is not assured. Multi-media cards cannot be used with this model of Handycam. However, here are the supported memory cards for your Handycam:

  • “Memory Stick PRO Duo” media  *Up to 32 GB             
  • “Memory Stick PRO-HD Duo” media *Up to 32 GB     
  • “Memory Stick XC-HG Duo” media    *Up to 64 GB
  • SD Memory card  (class 4 or faster)   *Up to 64 GB 
  • SCHC memory card (class 4 or faster)  *Up to 64 GB      
  • SDXC memory card (class 4 or faster)  *Up to 64 GB 

**Tips**

Movies that are recorded on a “Memory Stick XC-HG Duo” and SDXC memory cards cannot be imported to or played back on computers or AV devices that do no support the exFat file system by connecting these devices with a USB cable. Do not try and format to the exFat format unless you want all of your data on the memory device to be erased.
