Software for Macs

The “PlayMemories Home” software is not supported with the Mac computers. To import images from your camcorder to your Mac and play them, use the appropriate software on your Mac. Find details about Mac Supported Software.

• Intel Core Duo 1.66 GHz or faster
• Intel Core 2 Duo 1.66 GHz or faster
• Intel Core 2 Duo 2.26 GHz or faster (required when processing FX or FH movie)
• Intel Core 2 Duo 2.40 GHz or faster (required when processing PS movies)

Memory

• Windows Vista/Windows 7/Windows 8: 1 GB or more.

Hard disk

Disk volume required for installation: Approximately 500 MB.

Display

Minimum required is 1,024 x 768 dots.

**Tips**

• Standard Installation is required. Operation is not assured if the operating system has been upgraded or in a multi-boot environment.
• 64-bit editions and Starter (Edition) are not supported. Windows Image Mastering API (IMAPI) V.2.0 or newer is required to use disc create function, etc.
• Starter (Edition) is not supported.
• Faster processor is recommended.
• Operation with all computer is environments is not supported.
